Press Interview & Book Presentation: Monday 4th December, 3 p.m.

The term CONTROL OF LOSS unfolds in all its scope after a while of reflection. It's not about loss of control. It's about aiming for a protocol of loss. The GLITCH has an important signaling function in this reflection of loss control. The GLITCH itself cannot make the loss of information visible. Rather, the GLITCH is an indicator of systemic deficits, undocumented functions and breaking points in the digital and non-digital sphere. As such, GLITCHES can provide insights into unrecognized properties of the systems and processes involved. They may even have knowledge of repair options. Intentional GLITCHES can thus visualize social fractures. Their shadow allows for camouflage, mimicry and camouflage.

With artistic contributions from Michael Betancourt (Georgia, USA), Luis A. Borchardt (D), Rosa Menkman (NL), Joana Moll (ESP), Ian Keaveny (IR),
